The website Poetryeater<\/em> has uploaded a Xi Chuan poem under the title of \u201cMisfortune A 000000<\/a>.\u201d They don’t credit the translator, but it looks like it’s Wang Ping<\/a>‘s translation with Alex Lemon published in the literary journal Grain<\/em> <\/a>in 2009. Here’s how it begins:<\/p>\n

He never looks back, yet knows I am lurking.<\/p>\n

He shouts: \u201cStop on the edge of the cliff, or your body won\u2019t withstand the anger.\u201d<\/p>\n
